  • 66.5 inches high, by 25 inches wide, by 22 inches deep
Other Info:
OUTSIDE:
There is an 8.5" high x 35" wide concrete mantel below the window.
The mantel is 54" above the ground (this includes a 12" high concrete base)
The window itself is set inside a window well. There is a 1.5" wide space between the window frame and the brick wall.

ACCESS & INSIDE: The access to the window is from inside, from a locked closet. It is used for storing a couple of ladders and a table. Side walls are 3/4 inch plywood and the rear door to the cabinet is 1/2 inch plywood. This back "wall" of the window gallery is a door that swings open into the closet behind the window space. It is made of 1/2" plywood. There are 2 holes (about 2" in diameter) in the ceiling towards the back that open above into a ledge that can be accessed from the closet. There is also an electrical outlet in the closet.

LIGHTS: There is an outlet inside the closet so with an extension cord and a fixture, 1-2 lights could be hung from the ceiling of the window space or placed anywhere else in the space. They would need to be low voltage LED lights because there is no ventilation and it faces the sun in the west.

BOX FOR DIDACTIC TBA: We are looking at attaching a box on the wall for a didactic outside next to the window  - funding etc TBA

PERFORMANCE: Performance in the courtyard space during the opening could also be arranged. The courtyard is about 10' wide.

HOURS: The Window Box Gallery is open only during Gallery 1313 hours - Wednesday – Sunday, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm1313 Queen Street West Toronto, ON.
